Versatile multifunctional helmet with best safety features. The Calyx was inspired by POC’s skiing and cycling heritage to create a truly multifunctional helmet that protects you while skiing, mountaineering or cycling. It meets strict safety standards and consists of a robust ABS outer shell with MIPS Evolve rotational impact protection.ConstructionWith the ABS construction, the foam layer on the inside of the helmet is kept separate from the hard outer shell. This creates a very thick, impact-resistant outer layer. MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) is a system for protecting the brain. A low-friction layer in the shell allows a sliding movement of 10-15 mm in all directions. This reduces the rotational movements that can affect the brain on impact.VentilationThe helmet is equipped with a passive ventilation system. This automatically provides ideal ventilation and keeps the goggle free of fogging.Fit systemThe fitting system can be slid into the helmet so it takes up less space when not in use – ideal for storage and transport.Safety standardCPSC 1203, ASTM F2040-18
