This board comes with a Directional Diamond 3D shape in the nose for more uplift in deep snow, improved handling in variable terrain and smooth turn initiation. Additional flax walls in the nose cushion vibrations and provide even more power.Riding styleAll-Mountain/Freeride for advanced riders – This board is perfect for fast turns on the piste and in the backcountry. It offers plenty of float in deep powder and reliable performance and stability in challenging terrain.ShapeThe tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. ProfileThe Free-The-Ride Camber profile comes with a positive camber in the tail, a flat camber on the front binding and a rocker in the nose. The positive camber offers pop and good edge hold. The flat section allows for easy and quick turn initiation. The rocker in the nose increases buoyancy in powder. The Diamond 3D profile is essentially a 3D shaped nose. Just like the shape of a spoon, this uplifts the contact points off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase uplift in pow. Without compromising stability, pop or grip on hard snow.FlexThe medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.ConstructionThe SinterStrong Base is easy to repair, with good wax absorption. A low-maintenance base for every rider level. HotRods are thin tubes made of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass and are embedded in milled channels in the wooden core of the board.
